A spellbinding experience.
‘A Minger’s Tale: Beginnings’ is an engrossing memoir of author R.B.N. Bookmark, born in Manchester, U.K. in 1950 to Irish immigrants. Author Bookmark takes his readers on an enchanting yet sometimes difficult journey through his growing up days of childhood, schooling, adulthood and hard earned living provided by his parents. Being the oldest of the three siblings, author would always end up doing something wrong that would spin the head of parents in anger and land him bearing the punishment.
Author Bookmark gives an intriguing insight into his memory lane for his readers to envision, beautified by hilarious narration expertly delivering a wild ride of unexpected twists and turns faced by author and his family.
Reading ‘A Minger’s Tale: Beginnings’ was like living with author himself and cherishing the moments of his past was completely a spellbinding experience.
I am sure, putting down on paper the realities of life did take a lot of courage for the author and thus I’d recommend reading this memoir and sharing authors real experience would be a token of appreciation. This book deserves to be widely read for its honesty and innocence.
